STATEMENT
Through my artworks I’ve always wanted to provoke peoples reactions after driving them through a multitude of order/disorder sounds and images that often relate to my identity. My artworks can be seen and interpreted in many ways from a person to another as it seeks to evoke their unconscious thoughts. I’ve always wanted to make people question themselves their culture and identity. I feel that we have so much in common yet we do not carry the same emotions towards it.

SEE DJERBA YOUNG MASTERS
This year’s YOUNG MASTERS have been prepared for the first public art activities in a boot camp in Gabes in cooperation with DANCERS CITIZENS SOUTH. The long-term cooperation with DANCERS CITIZENS SOUTH — home in Gabes — and SEE DJERBA Media Art Project — located in Houmt Souk — is a pioneering initiative to address the imbalance of art and culture opportunities between Tunisia’s capital and its southern regions. Both organizations foster the networking of art and culture organizations in the South, create opportunities for artistic expression, develop talent and resources, and promote cultural decentralization. They feature transdisciplinary collaborations in media art, dance, and music, develop public art projects to revitalize southern urban spaces and provide mentoring and funding programs for emerging southern artists. In various co-operations, they seek to nurture and amplify southern Tunisia’s unique voices and creativity, where art and culture initiatives have historically been less prevalent. It nurtures a thriving arts scene in the south, celebrating local heritage while embracing contemporary forms of expression.
